This Sunday we continued our Villains series by looking at 1 John 2:1-11 and the danger of anger. We explore anger through the Godfather saga, in which the Corleone family is destroyed by out-of-control anger.

Unlike most of the other vices in this series, anger is not always bad. Jesus, for instance, gets angry when he chases the moneychangers out of the Temple. Anger, stewarded in ways that honor God, helps us fight against injustice and oppression.

Anger is poison when used to hurt, and medicine when used to heal.
