On January 30th, we concluded the year with a traditional Covenant Renewal Service. These services go back to the 18th century and the earliest days of the Wesleyan Revival in England. Just as we see in the Old Testament, when prophets or kings would gather God’s people together to repent and begin anew with God, we gathered to recommit ourselves to God’s work and give the new year to the work of the Kingdom. Rather than a sermon, this service is focused on a series of readings, hymns, and prayers, which you will hear in this recording.

This website provides more of the background to this service, and some of the prayers we utilized.

May God bless you and yours to be a blessing to others in 2019!
