Grace Church Children's Choir

This Sunday, September 13, we will launch our 2009-2010 Children's Choir season.  The Grace Children's Choir, grades 2-5, will meet in the choir room upstairs in the sanctuary building, from 9:25-9:55 each Sunday morning.  I look forward to building upon our tradition of quality children's music, including exposure to hand chimes, in this choir.  Our first opportunity to sing in worship will be in our joint service at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4!  Please come out this Sunday so we can get started!  

We also begin a new tradition this week at Grace, with a new choir for ages 4-1st grade.  We have two wonderful volunteers, Sugar Dunlap and Emily Faucher, to help kick-off this new music ministry for our young children.  This young choir will meet in the 2nd/3rd grade room upstairs, across from the nursery from 9:45-10:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. We can move children from Jr. Church to choir, just let us know. The time frame will be 6-7 weeks in the fall and another 6-7 weeks in the spring, with the goal of singing in worship on Oct. 25. 

We hope you will bring your children to sing at Grace and become a part of one of these wonderful musical ministries.  Let us make a joyful noise!!
